Dell Director, Marketing Operations in Bedford, Massachusetts

We are looking for a Director, Marketing Operations to lead the effort to develop, and continuously drive, a best-in-class operations function. This role will include managing our Marketo system and all execution through it as well as data management within it. The individual will work cross-functionally within marketing as well as closely with IT and sales operations to develop plans that address business needs. This role will develop, assess and optimize operations leveraging reporting metrics across the funnel. It will also determine and implement continuous enhancements across operations and the business to ensure global scale.

Responsible for leading the marketing operations team with emphasis on:

  • End-to-end lead flow visibility

  • Developing and executing on a roadmap to ensure scale across RSA

  • Standard reports and baseline metrics for database cleanliness, funnel analysis, campaign effectiveness, and overall business impact

  • Managing the internal “services” for global email execution, landing page development, and data management

  • Overseeing local and globally distributed team members

  • Overall infrastructure management including integration points such as SF.com

  • Marketing operations functional design and development

  • Partnering with sales operations to ensure system, process, and goal alignment

  • Defining the budget strategy, allocation and reconciliation process

  • Providing exemplary service to internal customers such as sales, marketing program managers, and execs

  • Minimum 7-10 years of experience in a marketing/sales operations role or similar position

  • Advanced user of marketing automation systems like Pardot, Marketo or Eloqua

  • Deep understanding of SF.com and the role it plays with marketing

  • Proficient in the use of business analytics, key performance indicators and dashboards

  • Understanding of third party data sources for lead database building and augmentation

  • Familiar with GDPR rules and compliance requirements for data capture and on-going use

  • Experience leading and building high performance teams – including globally dispersed teams
