This position provides an exciting opportunity to help create next-generation solutions to problems of national importance. Join MITRE's Electronic System Development and Embedded Security department architecting and designing state of the art RF and mixed signal electronic prototypes for advanced sensor systems and communications systems.

Responsibilities include:

We are interested in highly motivated candidates with a wide variety of skills and interests including RF, analog, and mixed signal PCB hardware design and prototype development. Candidates will also gain knowledge using cutting-edge design tools such as Keysight ADS/Momentum, Genesys, and Mentor DxDesigner/PADS in a team setting. Candidates will have the opportunity to apply practical knowledge to communication, navigation or sensor systems with accomplished engineers.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree

  • Applicants selected for this position will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information or applicants who are eligible for security clearances.

Required Qualifications

  • B.S. in Electrical Engineering

  • The candidate should have a strong technical background with basic knowledge of circuit design with CAD tools.

  • Candidate must have strong development, debugging, and problem-solving skills.

  • A practical knowledge of communication, navigation, or sensor systems and familiarity with laboratory equipment is also desirable.

  • Candidate must be able to obtain and maintain a DoD security clearance which will require US citizenship.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • M.S. or PhD in Electrical Engineering

  • Possess an active DoD secret clearance
