U.S. Bank Community Bank Partner Manager - Home Based in BASED, Massachusetts

Manages all relationship management activities for clients in the assigned business segment and/or geographical region. Reviews and recommends objectives and procedures; administers policies as they affect the operational/product area. Identifies business opportunities and solicits referrals. Coordinates the business development programs and call schedules. Manages client negotiations; pricing of the product within the target rate of return; proper documentation and closing the transaction; and compliance and conformance with company policy and regulatory requirements. Monitors and analyzes relationship plan results and account activities. Develops solutions for problem accounts.

The Community Bank Channel Partner Manager is responsible for the overall satisfaction, management, growth and agreement renewal of assigned bank partners.

Job Duties Include:

Elavon/Partner Goals

  • Work with partner to understand bank goals and build strategic action plans to meet both bank and Elavon revenue goals on a monthly, quarterly, annual basis.

New/Existing Revenue Opportunity Development

  • Work directly with bank management and sales to develop incremental sources revenue

  •  Work directly with bank management to develop and promote acceptance of revenue initiatives

Initiate Sales and Vertical Market campaigns

  •  Data mining initiatives

  •  Vertical market campaigns (e.g, ECS, DCC and Gift Cards)

  •  Grass Roots Campaigns

  •  Specialized Bank Segment Campaigns

Brand Awareness

  •  Content management across all mediums

  •  Leverage website opportunities between Elavon and bank partners

 Leverage retail, small business & commercial/corporate distribution channels

  •  Identify strategic opportunities including but not limited to:

  •  Emerging markets

  •  Pricing/Product margins

  •  Product and portfolio mix

Bank Management

  •  Create and administer bank partner business review sessions

  •  Ensure compliance of co-branded content

  •  Develop and administer bank partner training

  •  Key liaison for conversion management and communications

  •  Develop and foster mutually productive relationships with assigned bank partners


Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience

  • Eight or more years of sales experience in the financial services industry

  • One or more years of management experience

  • Ability to travel

  • Strong understanding of all products and services applicable to target client segment

  • Considerable knowledge of applicable policies and procedures

  • Advanced knowledge of all organization products and operations

  • Demonstrated sales and marketing skills and abilities
