Job Description:

Their duties include performing research, preparing reports, and monitoring forecast plans. Prepares work to be estimated by gathering proposals, blueprints, specifications, and related documents. Identifies labor, material, and time requirements by studying proposals, blueprints, specifications, and related documents.

Coordinating production workflow for one or multiple products. Planning and prioritizing operations to ensure maximum performance and minimum delay. Determining manpower, equipment and raw materials needed to cover production demand. A production planner is responsible for the accuracy and timeliness of the production process. Duties include a specific focus on the materials and goods required in the production phase, ensuring the working space is properly maintained in order to have optimal performance.

Essential Functions:

Qualifications:

R Requires practical knowledge of job area typically obtained through advanced education combined with experience. Bachelor’s Degree and a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience or 2 years post-Secondary/ Associates Degree and a minimum of 6 years of prior related experience. Graduate Degree or equivalent with 0 to 2 years of prior related experience

Work consists of less-routine tasks in contribution to changes in systems and processes to solve problems. May be required to apply discretion within identified boundaries and procedures. Responsible for making minor changes in processes to solve problems or improve effectiveness of approaches and routines being utilized. Expected to propose solutions to problems for others review.

Preferred Additional Skills:

  • Strong problem solving skills

  • Experience in Lean Manufacturing preferred

  • Computer skills with Windows, and MS Office

  • Background in ERP systems

  • Must be able to exhibit a positive attitude and communicate clearly and effectively
