L3 HARRIS TECHNOLOGIES Production Technician II in Ayer, Massachusetts

Job Description: Production Technicians report to the Manufacturing Supervisor or his/her designee and are responsible for performing a variety of basic entry level duties and tasks. May be required to perform the duties of each manufacturing workstation, including but not limited to: Able to responsibly perform all tasks of Production Technician I. Train and lead Production Technician I employees. Work with minimal supervision. Able to understand engineering prints and can identify issues. Participate in MRB meetings. Understand quality specifications and procedural documentation. Assist advanced coworkers on more complex projects. Takes initiative in process improvement. Able to contribute to multiple product lines. Organizes and maintains work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition. Performs duties required to plan, layout and cut materials. Works from drawings, sketches, written and verbal instructions, generally to scale dimensions and tolerances. Reviews task requirements and plan sequence of operation. Lifting a maximum of 50lbs regularly. Qualifications: Education: HS diploma/GED equivalent. Must have be able to master the skills required for Production Technician I or have related experience. Ability to read drawings and operate power and hand tools preferred. Preferred Additional Skills: Communicates clearly. Follow prescribed safety rules and regulations and maintain quality standards. Display maturity and commitment along with a positive attitude. Perform other tasks as directed by supervision.
