Journeyman Plumber - Plumbing Foreman Position Summary: Coordinates and oversees the activities of assigned personnel and subcontractors engaged in the installation of a variety of piping, pumping, electrical, instrumentation and control equipment. Reviews plans, specifications, equipment schematics and onsite conditions to determine the safest and most efficient means to install water, sanitary or gas pipe and equipment in accordance with plumbing codes, standards, and regulations. Responsibilities: Adhere to and promote all Company Safety Policies and the Company Code of Conduct. Cut, thread, bend, and assemble PVC, copper, black iron pipe, and electrical conduit. Preplan all work to include review of plans, specifications, equipment drawings, and regulatory codes to insure efficient installation of materials and equipment. Inspect work in progress to ensure compatibility and safety of the system. Repair and maintain plumbing systems, fixtures, piping equipment and controls. Maintain accurate time and material records. Respond to emergency situations during and after hours to resolve immediate safety concerns. Performs other miscellaneous duties and responsibilities, as required. Requirements: Must possess a valid Massachusetts Journeyman Plumber License Must demonstrate leadership ability necessary to lead, motivate, and direct the work of subordinates. Work within precise limits or standards of accuracy; follow instructions, read blueprints, and make decisions based on measurable criteria. High school diploma and/or additional specialized training as required for licensing. Minimum 5 years\' experience in trade, with preference in Service work. OSHA 10 Construction Certification, or ability to obtain during pre-employment (company provided online training). Ability to obtain and maintain a DOT medical card and meet DOT preemployment requirements, and OSHA certification (company sponsored) Valid US Driver\'s License
