Sensata Technologies, Inc. Facilities Maintenance Tech in Attleboro, Massachusetts

Position Summary:

  • Candidate would be responsible for all mechanical related maintenance & troubleshooting onsite.

  • Candidate would also be responsible for all office related moves, builds & rearrangements,

auditorium set ups, conference room set ups, furniture building/moving.

  • Position requires individual to be self-motivated & capable of working independently.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Individual will be responsible for building offices & assembling office partitions, chairs, tables, etc

  • Perform daily inspections of cafeteria area

  • Responsible for coordinating personnel moves

Position Requirements:

  • Minimum 10+ years experience in building construction

  • Must be able to operate power tools

  • Must be able to assemble office furniture

  • Minimum 5 years experience as a locksmith

  • Must be able to lift 50+ lbs

  • Must have excellent people skills

  • Must have basic computer skills, Office, Excel etc.

  • Familiarity with AIS Matrix modular furniture construction and assembly.

  • Familiarity will Millwright procedures

Position Responsibilities

  • Individual will be responsible for all mechanical maintenance. Daily tasks would include:

  • Pump rebuilding

  • Welding (Stick, Mig, Tig)

  • Shaft & bearing repairs

  • Motor evaluations

  • Ductwork/sheet metal fabricating

  • Preventative maintenance of HVAC systems

  • Preventative maintenance of compressed air systems

  • Building offices, assembling cube partitions, chairs, tables, etc.

  • Individual would be responsible for all employee office moves

Position Requirements

  • Must be familiar with the following types of industrial systems:

  • Compressed air: compressors and dryers (all types)

  • Chilled water systems

  • Boiler systems

  • HVAC systems (air handlers, fans and rotoclones)

  • Clean room support systems and clean room access protocol

  • Minimum 15+ year’s experience in building maintenance/equipment mechanics

  • Minimum 10 years experience in building construction

  • Minimum 10+ year’s experience in welding all types of steel

  • Must be able to operate power tools, forklifts, scissor lifts

  • Must be able to maintain/repair all components of an air handler

  • Must be able to lift 50+ lbs.

  • Must have excellent people skills

  • Must have basic computer skills, Office, Excel etc.

  • Must be able to make stock lists & order own materials

  • Must be able to fabricate sheet metal ductwork piping & fittings

  • Must be willing to support a 24/7 coverage plan when required
