Job Description: The Sr. Eng Logistics Specialist I will perform a variety of tasks in support of the Patriot System. The Sr. Eng Logistics Specialist I will review Class 1 Engineering Change Proposals (ECPs) and Class 2 ECPs for logistics impacts and technical accuracy. S/he will provide Logistics Technical Assessments and Program Planning Logistics Services to the Department of Defense PATRIOT Weapon System. Responsibilities will include: review, analyze, and process ECPs and CNs to ensure timely and accurate data. The Sr. Eng Logistics Specialist I will attend weekly Configuration Control Board (CCB) and Change Investigations Board (CIB) meetings. S/he will authorize the approval/rejection of ECPs based on logistics hardware/software implementation and financial cost assessments, and maintain record of this in the Logistics Sustainment Database (LSDB). S/he will interface daily with internal customers, external customers, and engineering disciplines. The Senior Engineering Logistics Specialists I will perform Depot/Spares Administrator activities and serve as liaison between a variety of cross-functional areas including Depot planning and control, Mission Assurance, Engineering, Manufacturing and Material procurement/management. Responsibilities include: Understanding of the operation and maintenance philosophy of the Patriot System Understanding of the Patriot System maintenance concept, system deployment, transportation, and system emplacement Understanding of how ECPs impact fielded systems Strong working knowledge of Product Data Management (PDM) Ability to read and understand Technical Drawings, ECPs, Investigation Requests (IRs), Patriot Field Reports (PFRs), and CNs. Required Skills: Excellent written and oral communications skills with the ability to coordinate activities and respond to inquiries from the customer and engineer Active Secret Clearance Knowledge of Microsoft Office Ability to work well in a team environment Ability to travel within the US Desired Skills: Demonstrated experience with manufacturing and depot repair activities Familiar with schedule and Depot planning systems Required Education (including Major): B.S. in an Engineering or related technical discipline Work experience may be considered in lieu of degree 125580
