An opportunity exists in the Advanced Microelectronics Solutions (AMS) Department, a part of Raytheon, for a Work Center Leader in the area of Metrology. AMS develops, designs, and manufactures compound semiconductor devices, millimeter/microwave integrated circuits, focal plane arrays, and modules for defense and commercial applications.

What Will You Do :

• Lead a small team to achieve foundry metrics in the Metrology Work Center.

• Support the foundry’s production efforts through lot deposition, process sustainment, RCCA, and process improvement activities.

• Develop CDSEM and Overlay recipes and strategies to improve data generation for production and development products.

• Lead capital procurement and qualification efforts as they arise.

• Obtain and maintain additional program access as required.

• This role will be 100% on-site and based in Andover, MA.

• This position is for 1st Shift.

  Qualifications You Must Have :

• Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum 8 years’ of prior work experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years’ of prior work experience.

• Experience with semiconductor process engineering and metrology.

• Experience troubleshooting semiconductor process equipment.

• The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

  Qualifications We Prefer :

• Master’s in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM).

• Experience with CDSEM and Overlay.

• Experience working with SQL databases.

• Experience with statistical analysis software (JMP, Minitab, R, SPSS, MATLAB, etc).

• Experience training and certifying users on semiconductor processes and equipment.

• Experience in statistical process control (SPC).

• Ability to clearly present data and analyses.

• Ability to document and maintain production processes.

The salary range for this role is 96,000 USD - 200,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
