HPEFS Lifecycle Services Delivery Operation, located in Andover Massachusetts, is at the heart of HPE’s market-leading Circular Economy strategy. We have over 20 years’ experience in the sustainable management of IT assets. Our facility is designed to refurbish and remarket preowned assets where possible or ethically recycle if no longer usable. The variety of assets is staggering, from 25-year-old legacy to current generation HPE Products and Solutions. The successful candidate will form part of a compact, agile, and adaptive engineering team working within the operation. The diversity of the role requires an experienced, creative, and self-motivated individual who would enjoy the daily challenge of a fluid environment filled with technology and its associated challenges.

This manufacturing engineering role is critical to the success of the business, designing end to end processes to optimize our efficiency while controlling associated costs. You will become involved in everything from the physical to the systemic. Challenges are ever changing demanding someone with the right attitude and growth mindset to match. Responsibilities

  • Support the business in its strategic outcomes in terms of revenue generation, growth, and sustainability

  • Identify, define, document, and implement opportunities to drive systemic process changes that would improve quality, increase capabilities and reduce processing costs.

  • Subject matter expert for business IT systems; defining new systemic requirements and investigating current capabilities to provide solutions to either new or existing process requirements.

  • Represents the Engineering team during new business engagement collaborations.

  • Define, document, and implement strong processes, process controls and quality systems in response to new business opportunities.

  • Collaborates and communicates with management, internal functions and external customers regarding process and standards compliance, recording and reporting issues, and recommendations for problem resolution.

  • Provides guidance and mentoring to less-experienced staff members

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent technical discipline.

  • 5+ years of relevant industry experience.

Knowledge and Skills

  • Relevant industry experience working within a production environment in an engineering capacity.

  • Proven experience in relational database design and maintenance (Microsoft Access/Oracle SQL).

  • User level experience of an ERP manufacturing implementation.

  • Demonstrable core MSFT Office skills.

  • Self-motivated and proactive with demonstrated creative and critical thinking capabilities.

  • Teamwork: the candidate must be able to fit in well with a team, understand capabilities and priorities while fostering a collaborative environment.

  • Ability to solve problems within tight time-constraints.

  • Able to work well under stress, both internally and across functions while displaying excellent time management skill.

  • Proven record of out-of-hours business support and commitment.
