Whole Life Engineering (WLE) is responsible for ensuring our products are Safe, Reliable, Maintainable and delivered on time. WLE consists of multiple disciplines that support engineering, our program offices and our customers. Our WLE disciplines participate in the total life cycle of our products from conception to deactivation. Our focus area is product support, including the following disciplines: Reliability System Safety and Supportability.
As a senior level Logistics Specialist supporting the Patriot Missile Support Center program, you’ll work closely with the United States Government, Program Office team, and Raytheon Missiles & Defense Operations to coordinate material requirements at Missile Assembly / Disassembly Facilities and Patriot Missile Facilities.
Responsibilities to Anticipate:
Responsible for Whole Life Engineering Logistics scope for cost, schedule, and technical requirements
Supporting material workload requirements with the missile production floor for hardware being upgraded
Coordinating overall shipping, receiving and tracking of customer furnished material in support of Repair and Return activities
Processing procurement requests to support customer hardware requirements
Spares provisioning for subassemblies, consumables and hardware required for Repair and Return (R&R)
Communicate and present status and information with both internal and external customer
Team Lead of approximately 3-4 team members
Domestic & International travel may be required – limited durations (approximately 30% domestic)
This position can be a P3 or a P4 based on the candidate's qualifications as they relate to the skills, experience and responsibility requirements for the position.
An advanced degree can be substituted for additional years of experience as follows: Master’s is equal to 2 years of experience or a Ph.D. is equal to 5 years of experience.
Qualifications You Must Have:
Education: Bachelor's degree OR 8+ years of relevant professional experience may be considered in lieu of a Bachelor’s degree. (Two years of related work experience can substitute for one year of college education).
5+ years of logistics, supply chain or manufacturing operations experience in a military or civilian environment
Experience with logistics coordination across multiple areas
Experience interfacing with US Government customers and/or stakeholders located Outside of the Continental United States (OCONUS)
Experience with the Patriot Missile Product
The ability to obtain and maintain a US security clearance. US citizenship is required as only US citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
