Job Description

As Test Engineer, the person will be responsible for the analyzing project requirements, preparing test plan, documenting test cases, documenting test cases execution, and documenting defects identified during test cases execution. The Test Engineer will closely work with development team to resolve defects identified during test cases execution and document defects closure. They will work to identify opportunities and implement test cases automation using Kainos as Workday automated testing tools. The Test Engineer will support our clients global HR organization, working as Workday Test Engineer for Workday HR solutions and will report to EAS Quality Assurance Services Lead. The Test Engineer will work to deliver testing artifacts (deliverables) on time as per project schedules while working on high visibility projects. Test Engineer will also be responsible for working on various project in parallel with prioritizing tasks as per respective project schedules. They will be participating in daily project stand up meetings and report testing progress, work stoppers, defects and keep Jira up to date.

Test Engineer has extensive knowledge of HR Domain, Workday Functional Area (e.g. HCM, Recuriting, Core Compensation, Talent and Performance, TimeOff, Leave of Absence, Learning, Security) domains and business processes. There will be an opportunity to collaborate with the various teams and functions like HR, Payroll, Compensation, Recruiting, Learning Management, and with various parts of the Digital Technology organization.

Skills and Requirements

• 6+ years QA Test Engineer experience (Workday / KAINOS)

• Experience with testing Workday functional areas like HCM, Recuriting, Core Compensation, Talent and Performance, TimeOff, Leave of Absence, Learning, Security etc.

• Ability to create QA test cases template, checklists, standard works in Jira for frequent testing tasks.

• Experience in Workday Release testing (KAINOS)

• Participate in daily project stand up meetings and report testing progress, work stoppers, defects and keep Jira up to date.

• Experienced in designing, developing, testing, implementing and proficient in Testing Tools (e.g., Jira, Quality Center, Kainos, Selenium)

• Experience in HR / Payroll domain.

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) or related discipline. null
