RMD / Patriot Programs:
The Patriot Programs Integrated Business Team delivers the world’s most advanced air and missile defense system globally.
Raytheon Missile Defense (RMD) is the prime contractor for Patriot, the world’s most sophisticated long-range, high-altitude, all-weather air and missile defense system.
The Saudi Production Program Manager (PPM) reports to the Float equipment and Critical Spares (FCS) / Saudi New Additional Patriot (SNAP) Program Manager (PM). The KSA Production PM is responsible and accountable for the successful execution of all KSA Program production scope while achieving all cost and schedule commitments to the PM while mitigating risks and capturing available opportunities.
This position will need to lead a multi-functional team to ensure all technical and programmatic requirements are met and milestones achieved.
The successful production PM will develop and maintain strong working relationships with the Land Warfare and Air Defense (LWAD) Common Execution Team (CET), associated Integrated Product Teams (IPT), Cross Business Teams (CBT) and key subcontractors and suppliers.
This position is responsible for establishing and maintaining clear production objectives and performance measures to monitor performing organization progress against milestones.
The KSA Production PM must identify opportunities to accelerate deliveries and provide the requisite leadership to Raytheon functions and external suppliers to help ensure the success of delivering high quality products in the most efficient and quickest manner possible.
The PPM will also be responsible for leading the proposal and PM activity for various smaller Foreign Military Sales (FMS) contracts.
This position will be shared within the Middle East region and it is expected that this person will support other countries within the portfolio.
Duties / Responsibilities
This position serves as the primary interface between KSA Programs and the LWAD production and integrated supply chain leadership with less frequent, but equally important direct interface with the Royal Saudi Air Defense Forces (RSADF)
Leverage multifunctional team(s) and subcontractors to execute program scope and accelerate milestone deliverables
Sets internal program milestones and monitors adherence to program master plans and schedules
Develops program enhancing partnerships with contracts, finance, procurement, operations, integrated supply chain, quality, engineering and administrative functions to achieve all production scope in accordance with contract deliverables
Prepare regular internal status reviews including production readiness reviews, OPS status reviews, production material demand schedules and quality defect containment assessments
Lead various FMS proposals and act as PM if required
Focuses, evaluates, motivates and rewords the program production team to help achieve stated goals and business objectives for delivery metrics that contribute to meeting sales, cash, bookings, and profit objectives each fiscal quarter
Ability and willingness to travel to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA) and other associated international and domestic travel required to maintain close program production oversight
Coaches, mentors and provides performance feedback to direct and indirect reports.
Presents monthly program production status to senior Saudi Programs and LWAD leadership
Employs production management best practices and lessons learned
Fosters team building, demonstrates interpersonal skills and gets the most out of Functional, Core, Product and PMO teams
This position requires the ability to obtain U.S. Security Clearance.
Except in rare circumstances, only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
U.S. Citizenship is required
Current US Secret Security Clearance or ability to obtain within 12 months
Minimum of 10 years of related working experience in operations, finance, program execution or program management and production management positions with up to $100M+ in value of large, complex weapon systems programs
Minimum of 5 years of direct or indirect Program Production Management experience working with an International customer
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Finance, Mathematics, Science or related technical discipline
Raytheon Six Sigma Certified or industry equivalent
International experience with program execution, EXIM import controls, compliance, licensing and partnering with Other Foreign Nationals (OFN)
MBA or other advanced engineering degree
Extensive international business experience with Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) member nations
Minimum of 5 years of Program Management experience working with a Direct Commercial Sale (DCS) customer
Excellent oral and written communication skills to include the ability to interact effectively with customers and Raytheon personnel at all levels including senior executives
Experience with LWAD product and services portfolio
Demonstrated experience in executing and meeting production timelines and deliverable milestones to achieve AOP commitments
Existing rapport with the US Government’s Lower Tier Project Office (LTPO) and Security and Management Directorate (SAMD)
Direct experience working within KSA and / or demonstrated expertise in a multi-national, multi-cultural setting
