Mercury Systems Finance Analyst in Andover, Massachusetts

In this role, you will have the opportunity to: Leverage value added critical thinking and analytical skills to provide the financial forecasting product necessary to allow the company to reach its goals built on strong operational excellence and profitable growth. Responsibilities Prepare and manage monthly business forecasts to give rise to business unit revenue, margin and cash. Create standardized excel based templates leveraging Hyperion Planning. Identify and understand the impact of variances to the quarterly forecasts and annual plan. Manage cash forecast to include tracking monthly AR, cash receipts and unbilled revenue. Monitor and report on departmental expenses including indirect, IR&D, and B&P expense. Perform some month end accounting close activities. Monitor and report on labor utilization and headcount. You are a part of An experienced finance organization that works with leadership to budget, forecast, analyze, report and manage P&L planning, department expense management, balance sheet objectives (including capital investments), and specific business metrics. In addition, the FP&A analyst will provide support to their assigned internal customers and support special projects. To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience * Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance or related discipline * 1+ years of experience * Strong financial acumen, including thorough understanding of Excel modeling techniques * Experience in forecasting, budgeting and variance analysis * Demonstrated ability to work within a matrix organization, excellent communication and interpersonal skills * Uncompromising embodiment of the Mercury Systems Culture and Values * Strong work ethic and a sense of urgency to achieve results Preferred Skills * Familiarity with Oracle * Familiarity with the defense industry * Familiarity with manufacturing operations Why should you join Mercury Systems?
