Job Summary:
As the Depot Logistician / Repair & Return Section Lead , you’re responsible for employee performance development and assessments and will perform continuous process improvement to grow the capabilities and productivity of the organization. Additionally, you’re responsible for the quality and timeliness of work products produced within the Section and will hold monthly and as-needed Section meetings to facilitate communications, share lessons learned, and review productivity and engineering metrics.
As the Section Leader you’ll provide accurate and timely data to support the Department measurement and analysis requirements, support labor forecasting, workload balance and growth, Basis of Estimate (BOE)development and approval for proposals. Attendance at bi-weekly department staff meetings and metrics meetings are required.

Responsibilities to Anticipate:
As the Depot Logistician / Repair & Return Section Lead you’re responsible for the following:
Employee performance development and assessment for your team
Employee productivity improvement
Budgeting and manpower planning
Cost proposal and EAC preparation.
Additional responsibilities will include the following employee-focused areas:

Ensuring compliance with company policies/procedures
Ensuring all personnel are properly prepared and trained for the scope of their tasks and leveraging best practices across all programs
Approximately 5% travel is required.
This role is posted as HYBRID. Commuting costs to and from the Andover, MA facility are the responsibility of the incumbent.
Qualifications You Must Have: Typically Requires:
Bachelor's degree and 10 years of relevant experience. OR an Associate’s degree and 12 years of related experience OR an advanced degree in a related field and minimum 7 years’ experience OR in absence of a degree, 14 years of relevant experience is required
Engineering or Depot or Warehouse experience
Experience developing and/or executing engineering contract deliverables
Experience leading teams
Experience with budget management
The ability to obtain and maintain a US Security clearance. US citizenship is required as only US citizens are eligible for a security clearance
Qualifications We Value:
Demonstrated understanding of program Technical Data Package (drawings, parts lists, and electrical schematics), Change Notices (CNs)/Engineering Change Proposals (ECPs), technical manuals, and tool catalogs.
EVMS or equivalent experience
Ability to develop briefings and present to audiences up to 50 persons on technical plans, status, and results
Experience with Depot management, Logistics and / or Repair & Return
Knowledge of Statement of Work (SOW) and Inter-organizational Transfer (IOT)
Strong ability to work on multiple projects involving resources from multiple sources
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Strong self-sufficiency and initiative
CORE certification
Aptitude in creating and implementing metrics-based execution plans
BOE Developer certification
