Job Summary:

An exciting opportunity exists for a recent college graduate to join our Advanced Microelectronics Solutions Department (AMSD) at Raytheon Missiles & Defense in Andover, MA. AMSD develops, designs, and manufactures compound semiconductor devices, microwave/millimeter-wave integrated circuits, and modules for defense applications.

The ideal candidate for this department is interested at semiconductor MMIC technology and may be utilized in the areas of test engineering, circuit design and layout, and/or MMIC manufacturing. The candidate should have strong academic credentials and experience working in a team environment. The ideal candidate will demonstrate not only academic, but also interpersonal skills to help optimize our teams. The single most important attribute is an inquisitive nature and a strong desire to learn real world applications to compliment the recent academic experience. Familiarity with modern hardware/software tools as appropriate is expected.

Qualifications You Must Have:

  • Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) major.

  • This position requires 12 months or less of relevant professional work experience (excluding internships).

The ability to obtain and maintain a US security clearance. U.S. citizenship is required as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
