Dorm Room Mover

PeopleReady of Amherst, MA is now Dorm Room Movers! Dorm Room Movers will be assisting incoming college students move into dorm rooms.  In this position will you will work with other moving crew members and interacting with the students and families.  This is a unique opportunity but any experience with general labor, moving, warehouse, or similar industries would be an advantage!

Pay Rate:

The pay rate for this job is $18 / Hour

What you'll be doing as a Dorm Room Mover:

• Greeting students and verifying identity

• Unloading vehicles containing household items

• Moving item into dorm rooms

• Working as a part of an effective team

• Following directions for other tasks as assigned

Available shifts:

Shift timings - 1st Shift (Day) and 2nd Shift (Evening)

Job requirements:

• Able to stand, lift, bend, and stoop for the entire shift

• Able to work in all weather conditions 

• Able to lift up to 30 lbs

• Background check required
