Hiller Companies Mechanic / Pipe Fitter in Amesbury, Massachusetts
Hiller Fire Protection - New England, a division of The Hiller Companies, is a 26 year old Special Hazard / Sprinkler Fire Protection Contractor in need of a full time Mechanic / Pipe Fitter. This position involves performing all aspects of mechanical installation for protection systems.
Job Summary:
Mechanical Installation of Special Hazard Fire Protection Systems
Working with blue prints and mechanical schematics
Working safely and following OSHA guidelines to avoid personal injury and property damage
Responsibilities:
Mechanical installation layout
Operation of pipe thread and groove equipment
Pipe hanging and bracing
Rigging and lifting
Mechanical assembly
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or Equivalent
Minimum of 2 years pipe fitting / mechanical installations / sprinkler fitting
Ability to operate a company fleet vehicle in a safe manner
A valid drivers licence with clean driving record.
