Ride Maintenance Manager Job Summary: The Maintenance Manager (Mechanical and Electrical) is responsible for overseeing the Maintenance Department Mechanical and Electrical areas, including rehabilitation and preventative maintenance for rides and equipment, completion of projects and goals, and managing within established budgetary guidelines. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Oversee and coordinate the broad array of activities under the Maintenance Department, including providing support for park operations, preventative maintenance activities, and repair and rehabilitation of rides and equipment. Schedule, prioritize, and oversee progress of projects and goals. Oversees supervisors and staff to ensure that work is scheduled appropriately to completion. Effectively communicate with all other park divisions and operating departments. Develop and implement departmental policies and procedures. Maintain State and Federal Standards, and other Six Flags policies and procedures. Coordinate third-party and state license inspections Responsible for ensuring all projects are completed in a safe and timely manner, as to not affect the Guest Experience. Keep all records and documentation updated daily, accessible, and organized. Interface with all departments on a regular basis. Other duties as requested or required. Skills and Qualifications: Minimum 5 years of maintenance operations leadership, preferably in Mechanical or Electrical Flexible scheduling including nights, weekends and holidays Must possess or have the ability to obtain Massachusetts Certified Maintenance Mechanic license Must possess a valid driver?s license and a clear driving record Excellent oral and written communication skills with computer proficiency Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point, and Outlook Knowledge of computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) and Maximo Demonstrate a working knowledge of regulatory agencies, and related rules and regulations Have the mental and physical capabilities necessary to perform job duties. Must be able to access all areas of the Park and able to lift/carry up to 50 lbs. Must be capable of bending, squatting, kneeling, working in confined spaces, and heights in excess of 400 feet. Must possess a strong working knowledge of the operation of hand and power tools, hydraulic and pneumatic equipment and systems, gear drive motion control systems, heavy equipment, etc. Capable to train others on the safe and proficient usage of equipment Must be able to work outdoors in all-weather conditions, and in muddy, dusty, wet, and dirty conditions Other Functions: All other duties assigned or necessary to support the park as a whole.
