Adecco is seeking a highly motivated and skilled Maintenance Technician to join our client’s team in Agawam, MA. You'll play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation and upkeep of their facilities. This role offers competitive compensation ( $18.00/hour ) with the potential to convert to a permanent role at the end of the contract period.

Qualifications
High School diploma or equivalent.
At least 1-2 years of relevant experience.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Understanding of building and maintenance concepts (electrical, plumbing, HVAC, construction codes).
Knowledge of shipping services and software (FedEx, UPS).
Proficiency with hand and power tools.
Familiarity with doors, hardware, and security systems.
Ability to read and interpret technical documents.
Physical ability to lift heavy objects and move equipment.
Forklift operator certification.
Proficient with standard office equipment and technology.
Responsibilities
General facility support tasks such as access system maintenance, furniture moving, lighting repairs, plumbing, carpentry, grounds maintenance, painting, and hanging artwork.
Building and equipment maintenance, including work order completion, routine maintenance, preventative maintenance, and repairs.
Responding to facility-related emergencies.
Coordinating with outside contractors and vendors.
Managing assigned work and adhering to GMP requirements.
Providing basic maintenance and repair of plumbing systems.
Troubleshooting and repairing minor electrical problems.
Fabricating and repairing machine tools and industrial machines.
Assembling and testing machines to verify proper functioning.
Prioritizing safety and maintaining a safe working environment.
Pay Details: $18.00 per hour
