Description
GeoTesting Express provides state-of-the-art testing facilities in our laboratory to measure the mechanical and physical properties of soil, rock, geosynthetics, aggregate, concrete, and other geo-materials. Will utilize best practices and advanced testing equipment to provide fast, accurate results. The specific duties will include:
Design and Conduct quality system laboratory tests.
Implement, improve & maintain quality system through documentation, proficiency, accreditations.
Prepare QA project reports.
Analyze tests and ensure they are conducted in accordance with our quality system laboratory training programs.
Provide quotes/pricing to clients in a timely manner.
Work as a co-lab manager to perform and oversee the daily operation of GeoTesting Express’ Acton, Massachusetts laboratory and field-testing services.
As part of the management team supervise laboratory employees.
The minimum requirements for this position are Bachelor’s Degree in Materials Engineering, Civil Engineering, Geology, or related engineering field and two years of experience in any suitable occupation related to Geotechnology. Experience must include working in a geotechnical laboratory environment with supervisory experience. Experience with soils and soils testing is required.
