Job Description
Teledyne Princeton Instruments, a subsidiary of Teledyne Technologies, Inc., is seeking a Financial Analyst in Acton, Massachusetts. This position will report to the Controller. Princeton Instruments manufactures Cameras, Spectrometers, and Optical components in their Acton, MA and Trenton, NJ facilities. They also have sales offices in Germany, Japan, France, and the UK. The accounting team in Acton, MA is responsible for preparing and maintaining the financial statements for all Princeton Instruments locations.
Responsibilities include:
Complete responsibility for the monthly close including adjusting entries through to trial balance
Preparation of reporting to senior management for its review
Preparation and submission of financial data to corporate head office
Process improvements
Dealing with internal auditors/SOX compliance
Ad hoc analyses
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance and 5-7 years experience
Knowledge of government accounting and government projects
Familiar with product costing
Organized, good communicator, works well to deadlines
Completes timely and accurate work
Citizenship Requirements:
Due to the type of work at the facility and certain access restrictions, successful applicants must be a U.S. Citizen.
