Brockton Hospital Patient Service Center Representative in West Bridgewater, Massachusetts

Under the direction and guidance of the Supervisor/Manager, this position is responsible for scheduling appointments, pre-registration, insurance verification of all accounts, obtaining referrals,Pre-authorization / pre-certification, authorization of all inpatients and newborn notifications and co-payment collections per each insurance provider guide. This includes triaging phone calls from doctors offices and patients to accurately schedule appropriate tests, work collaboratively with Case Management for all patient financial issues, always demonstrating respect and regard for the dignity of all patients, families, visitors, and fellow employees to ensure a professional, responsible, and courteous environment.
