POSITION SUMMARYThe Change Management Lead is responsible for ensuring that change initiatives meet objectives on time and on budget by increasing employee adoption and usage. This person focuses on the people side of change – including changes to business processes, systems and technology, job roles and organization structures. This role is responsible for developing change management strategies and plans that maximize employee adoption and usage and minimize resistance. This person will focus on execution of the change plans to drive faster adoption, higher ultimate utilization and greater proficiency of the changes that impact employees in the organization. The Change Manager will most likely support several initiatives concurrently.The Change Management Lead may provide direct support and coaching to front-line managers and individual performers as they experience transitions. This person will also support project teams in integrating change management activities into their project plans.Works closely with MarTech s peer teams (Strategy and Planning, Solutions Foundry, Tech Architecture) as well as Branding, Commercial and Government Marketing, Member Engagement, Sales, Legal and Compliance, Lean and Six Sigma, and the Lines of Businesses. Partners with Training and Technical SMEs within Solution Adoption and Technology Architecture to accomplish goal. Fundamental Components:- Apply a structured methodology and lead change management activities by assessing impact of change and designing a change management strategy to ensure adoption success. Identify and analyze risk mitigation tactics working with the initiative program manager to address. Anticipate and manage resistance while generating enthusiasm towards the end goal - Evaluate end user readiness. Plan and execute communications. Support training efforts and develop basic training/coaching material as necessary to support change management initiative. Consult and coach project teams. - Track client (LOB) penetration, metrics, outcomes and product functionality use related to adoption services. - Build trust relationships with client and peer groups. Develop business acumenBACKGROUND/EXPERIENCE desired:- 3-5 years Change Management experience or equivalent experience managing transformational initiatives with significant people and organizational impact. - 3-5 years IT experience with particular focus on business facing implementation role- 3-5 years of digital marketing with a focus on solution delivery and engagement model- Experience and knowledge of change management principles, methodologies and tools- Solid understanding of how people go through a change and the change process- Solid experience in the industry with deep understanding of commercial and government businesses - Cross-functional leadership experience, influencing, and change management skills - Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including listening and ability to explain complex ideas and technologies through- Willingness to work outside of defined job description to establish new process or find a solution to new problems- Ability to influence peers, leadership and lines of businesses (without having direct control)- Ability to work in an ambiguous and changing environment- Problem solving and root cause identification skills- Ability to influence others and move toward a common vision or goal- Ability to establish and maintain strong relationships- our success is dependent on building a trusting relationship with our clients- Strong business acumen and understanding of organizational issues and challenges- Ability to clearly articulate messages to a variety of audiences- Experience with large-scale change efforts
The highest level of education desired for candidates in this position is a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
