Raytheon Integrated Defense Systems (IDS) is looking for a Sr Systems Engineer to support the Systems Architecture Design and Integration Directorate (SADID) in Tewksbury. The Integrated Air and Missile Defense Systems (IAMDS) Department supports IDS by providing world class Weapon Systems Engineering. Job Description: Perform Systems Engineering tasks related to Air and Missile Defense Systems in the area of Battle Management Command Control Communications Computers and Intelligence (BMC4I) with a focus on the area of Link 16 communications networks Systems Engineering Studies / Trades to determine solutions to technical issues System Requirements Definition and Analysis Requirements Documentation Updates System Integration and Analysis System Test and Analysis Work in coordination with the Program office to interact with customer and end-user representatives in developing system requirements. This position can be a Salary Grade G08 or G09 based on the candidate’s qualifications as they relate to the skills, experience and responsibility requirements for the position. Required Skills: Experience with Link-16 tactical communication networks and MIL-STD 6016 Proven ability to develop, document, and maintain processes, methods and tools Excellent communication, technical writing, oral presentation, and interpersonal skills Proven ability to interface with customers and lead technical solutions to complex User needs Desired Skills: Proven experience in designing and developing of Link-16 and MIL-STD 6016 communications networks into large, complex systems Experience in test and analysis of Link-16 and MIL STD 6016 communications networks Experience in Concept of Operations development and/or design of system level software architecture Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite, DOORS Knowledge in MATLAB tools Existing DOD Secret Clearance or greater (or ability to obtain) Required Education (including Major): Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Science, or Mathematics area All job responsibilities are to be executed in harmony with Raytheon's Code of Business Ethics and Conduct policy which sets the standard by which we operate and how we treat one another.
