A basic understanding of mechanical design tasks, advanced understanding and experience on Solidworks, an ability to understand mechanical drawings, and excellent written and oral communication skills. Interested applicants are willing to engage in a wide spectrum of mechanical engineering disciplines and should be passionate about mechanical design. Currently enrolled in a collegiate insitution
Applicants with an understanding and experience using advanced 3D techniques in Solidworks, geometric tolerancing and injection molded plastic design are a plus.
Gathering and analyzing Materials Non-conforming data to determine statistical trends.
Take the lead on Failure analysis for mechanical assemblies (tolerance studies, drawing updates/corrections)
Assisting Quality Engineering on implementation of CMM equipment
Assisting with the execution of equipment/process validations that include installation Qualification, Operations Qualification, and Process Qualification
Employ standard troubleshooting protocols on equipment and related subsystems
Create and update documentation for manufacturing standard of work, including solid modeling and drawings in Solid works
Work safely and follow all safety requirements
