Raytheon Integrated Defense Systems Mission Assurance is conducting search for a Hardware Quality Engineer within the Test Equipment Quality Engineering organization. As a Hardware Quality Engineer you’ll provide expertise, guidance and management of issues encountered during design, development, build, integration and product realization of Depot and Factory Test Equipment and Patriot Missile Trainer systems. In this role, you’ll be involved with cross functional collaboration throughout the product lifecycle from conception to product sell-off, ensuring compliance to requirements and internal processes as well as providing oversight to; Preliminary and Critical Design Reviews, Integrated Product Team Meetings, Procurement, In-coming Inspection, and manufacturing build / Lab test areas. This position can be a Salary Grade G09 or Salary Grade G10 based on the candidate's qualifications as they relate to the skills, experience and responsibility requirements for the position. Typical examples of program activities that Test Equipment Hardware Quality Engineering supports include; Engineering Design Reviews Dry Run and Formal Functional/Performance Testing and Inspections Product Sell-off Manufacturing Floor Support Continuous Improvement initiatives Continuous Improvement initiatives Additional responsibilities will include: Ensuring proper root cause analysis and corrective / preventative actions are performed L ead ing or engaging in cont inuous improvement activities and Six Sigma projects. Ensuring that customer deliverables meet all contractual requirements Presenting product to the customer for acc eptance U.S. Citizenship status is required as this position will need a U.S. Security Clearance within 1 year of start date. Required Skills: 6+ years’ experience in Quality Science or Engineering Experience with analytical skills, root cause analysis, or corrective/preventative action US Citizenship is required Desired Skills: American Society for Quality (ASQ) Certification or Raytheon Mission Assurance Certification Six Sigma experience, either at the Expert level or with Black Belt Certification Familiarity with internal systems such as; PDM, Visiprise Manufacturing, PRISM, SAP, VBS, RCAS Experience preparing and presenting product utilizing Government DD-250 and DD-1149 Experience in supporting design and manufacturing processes and have the ability to work within a cross-functional team environment Experience with Quality systems, ISO/AS 9100 Excellent written and verbal communication skills Required Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science, Mathematics or a Technical Discipline About Raytheon Raytheon Company is a global technology and innovation leader specializing in defense, government and cybersecurity markets throughout the world.
