Position Summary

As an Engineer III, you will play a key role in optimizing our manufacturing processes to enhance efficiency, quality, and overall productivity. You will apply your expertise in lean principles and mechanical engineering to identify areas for improvement, develop innovative solutions, and drive continuous improvement initiatives throughout the organization.

  1. Lean Manufacturing Implementation:

  2. Lead and support the implementation of lean manufacturing principles and methodologies across all aspects of the production process.

  3. Identify opportunities for waste reduction, process optimization, and cycle time improvement.

  4. Process Engineering:

  5. Design, develop, and optimize manufacturing processes and systems to meet quality, cost, and delivery targets.

  6. Conduct feasibility studies, risk assessments, and cost-benefit analyses for process improvements and new initiatives.

  7. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of new processes and technologies.

  8. Continuous Improvement:

  9. Establish and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor process performance and identify areas for improvement.

  10. Lead root cause analysis and corrective action efforts to address process deviations, non-conformities, and quality issues.

  11. Drive a culture of continuous improvement by facilitating training, workshops, and knowledge sharing sessions.

  12. Project Management:

  13. Lead or participate in cross-functional project teams focused on process optimization, capacity expansion, and cost reduction initiatives.

  14. Develop project plans, timelines, and budgets, and ensure timely execution and delivery of project milestones.

  15. Communicate project status, risks, and mitigation strategies to stakeholders at all levels of the organization.

Position Requirements

FORMAL EDUCATION:

BS/BA degree in Engineering

4-10 years of experience

KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE:

Strong knowledge of operational processes as defined in work area.

Strong understanding of business acumen.

Excellent communication skills
