Sr. Engineering Project Manager -SW focused- Automotive Systems Division
Bose Corporation’s Automotive Systems Division (ASD) is leading the innovation in the field of automotive entertainment systems, as well as in areas of noise and sound control methods. We are seeking an experienced Engineering Project Manager to help lead cross-functional projects in our Automotive Systems Division. Specifically, strong candidates will have a broad range of experience leading both SW only projects as well as complex embedded systems for the Automotive, Consumer, or Defense markets. As an EPM, you are accountable for the entire development effort of a given system or software feature.
In this role, you will leverage your technical background to provide leadership of embedded systems and algorithm feature development efforts. As an EPM, you will be responsible for defining and deriving requirements, managing stakeholders, creating and maintaining project schedules and budgets, tracking interim milestones and deliverables, and communicating status updates to management and customers. Your primary responsibility is to ensure all project objectives are met including performance, schedule, cost, reliability, and quality.
BS in Electrical, Computer Engineering, Systems, or Software Engineering with 5+ years of experience in project management in a product development environment
Strong knowledge of multiple Systems/Software Development Lifecycle models is a must.
Prior experience in leading multi-disciplinary technical teams is required.

Excellent leadership, negotiation, and problem solving skills
Experience with product development is required
Experience with multiple project management tools (Microsoft Project, Jira, Trello, Slack, etc.) is required
Experience leading high complexity technology projects such as: Bluetooth®, RS-232/485, CAN, Ethernet, I2C, SPI, iPhone/Android App Development, Data Analytics, and Cloud-based applications
Familiarity with DFM, DFT, DFMEA, methods a plus
Experience in leading projects with signal processing and/or algorithms is a plus
Experience with requirements management tools (Doors, Jama, etc.) is a plus
Automotive or Defense experience a plus
Experience with Product Lifecycle Management software (Windchill) is a plus
PMP, CSM, and/or PMI-ACP certifications are a plus
Some travel (domestic and overseas) may be required
