POSITION: One (1) – Mechanic

DEPARTMENT: Transportation

LOCATION : Southborough, MA

STARTING RATE OF PAY: $32.24 hourly

CURRENTLY POSTED HOURS: Shifts Required (7:00am-3:30pm and 3:00pm- 11:00pm)

JOB SUMMARY:

Will at the end of the progression period be able to: Perform any repairs major and minor to engines, chassis and special equipment associated with the Company vehicles under supervision when necessary. Will perform work of a lower classification and any other duties pertinent to the classification as required.

QUALIFICATIONS

1. Be physically fit.

2. Possess a valid Massachusetts Driver's License and be capable and willing to get a Massachusetts Commercial Driver’s License.

3. Must have completed 4 years of Technical School training in auto mechanics or two years of on‑the‑job training.
