As the Staff Project Manager R&D Spine, you will have the opportunity to lead and compete in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. Your proven project management expertise will shine as you determine and successfully implement strategies to drive the successful completion of innovative complex projects. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the flawless execution of project plans and deliver exceptional results.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage multiple impactful projects with high scope complexity.

  • Understand, follow, and guide project teams through the new product development process.

  • Define key project constraints such as scope, schedule, budget, resources and risks.

  • Create and implement project plans, including schedules, necessary resources, and financial allocations.

  • Lead and inspire teams from different departments to ensure project goals are achieved

  • Share project updates, potential challenges, and ways to minimize risks with all relevant parties.

  • Proactively identify and resolve project issues and bottlenecks

  • Serve as point of contact for all internal partners (manufacturing, accounting, purchasing, sterilization, packaging, etc.) regarding project activities.

  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies

  • Track project progress and provide regular updates to senior management

  • Foster a collaborative and inclusive work environment

  • Mentor and provide leadership to junior project managers.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field. Equivalent experience will also be considered.

  • 6 - 8 years of project management experience

  • Minimum of 5 years of medical device, pharmaceutical, or other regulated industry experience

  • Proven track record of successfully managing multiple complex projects from initiation to completion

  • Strong leadership and effective collaboration abilities

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

  • Well organized, self-motivated, resourceful, personable and articulate

  • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment

  • Experience leading geographically dispersed teams

  • Proficiency utilizing the MS Office Suite (Project, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Advanced technical degree

  • PMP certification

  • Coaching skills

  • Familiarity with project lifecycle management (PLM) software

  • Proficiency utilizing SharePoint

For U.S. applicants, in accordance with applicable disclosure requirements, the anticipated base pay range for this position is $104,000 to $145,000.

The pay range is the anticipated pay range for the position to which you have applied, and that such factors, including but not limited to, internal equity and experience will be considered for any offer.
