Position Description

We are actively seeking qualified candidates in the following area: Engineering - Rotational Development Program

TMC is seeking a recent Engineering graduate to participate in our Rotational Development Program. This program is designed to further develop your talents through a series of assignments covering a broad range of technical functions, which may include R&D;, Design/Project Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Quality Assurance Engineering, Applications/Sales Engineering and Service Engineering. The assignments will provide valuable experiences that will broaden your knowledge of our business and help guide you toward your career objectives.

As you start each rotational assignment, you will be assigned a technical mentor. This individual will assign projects, monitor progress, and discuss future opportunities in their department. At the completion of all rotational assignments, after approximately 18 months, your overall progress will be reviewed and you will be placed in a role that aligns with and builds upon your talents and experience.

Position Requirements

Required Qualifications:

  • BS or MS in Engineering or Physics with a GPA of 3.0 or higher

  • Experience with CAD; Solidworks and AutoCAD preferred

  • Proficient with MS Office products

  • Co-op and/or internship experience in a related field

  • Successful record of challenging Engineering and related coursework

  • Strong business/technical judgment and problem-solving skills

  • Must be self-directed and able to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

  • Must be prepared to add value in all rotational assignments, and subsequent positions at the program’s completion

  • Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and documentation skills

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Must present a professional, positive image that reflects well on the company

Preferred Qualifications:

  • BS or MS in Mechanical Engineering

  • Prior experience with active vibration isolation technology

  • Familiarity with fabricated sheet metal design and manufacturing practices

  • Prior experience in an ISO 9001 environment

  • Previous leadership experience
