We have an exciting opportunity for a Strategic Channel Marketing & Business Development Manager ! In this dynamic role, you will secure business, driving relationships with senior executives who manage targeted industry associations, trade groups, unions, and certification providers (partnerships). This position is responsible for crafting exclusive relationships for Pearson’s AcceleratED Pathways providing introductions to key target client decision makers that result in contracted business.

What is needed to succeed in this role:

  • Establish productive, professional, relationships with key “C Level” personnel in assigned opportunities

  • Coordinate the involvement of company personnel including support, services, sales and management in order to meet objectives of the partner and the company

  • Meet assigned partnership strategic objectives and specific client acquisition targets

  • Proactively lead planning process that develops mutual performance objectives, financial targets and critical milestones associated with productive partnerships

  • Proactively assess, clarify, and validate partnership needs on an ongoing basis

  • Lead solutions development efforts to best address partnership, company, and end client needs

  • Proactively recruit new partnerships

Qualifications

Required Skills/Knowledge/Abilities:

  • Deep work experience in Trade/Industry Associations, Certification Providers, and/or Union education and training management

  • Deep experience in developing and marketing industry certifications

  • Executive level ability to develop and deliver education and certification solutions to corporations, government, and unions

  • Deep experience in workforce development channels and markets
