Development of communication programs to promote Oracle*s products and services.

Integrate advertising into the marketing campaigns, exercising judgment and business acumen in selecting methods and techniques for best practice / creative solution. As a recognized authority and leading contributor maintain regular interface between the division and Corporate. Plan and manage pan-geography corporate and local campaign media plans. Plan, manage and implement corporate and local campaign advertising creative. Manage tier 2 local advertising and arrange sign off with Corporate. Integrate all advertising across the communications mix. Maintain and communicate brand advertising guidelines. Oversee partner advertising. Develop and manage brand communications audit. Measure advertising effectiveness.

Leading contributor individually and as a team member, providing direction and mentoring to others. Work is non-routine and very complex, involving the application of advanced technical/business skills in area of specialization. 8 years relevant work experience. A proven track record in advertising across line-of-business and/or geography as an account manager, with experience of creative production and media buying.

Title: Global Communications Manager

The Global Communications Manager (GCM) role is strategic and critical to the business, and reports to the Global Director of Marketing for Oracle Financing. The GCM is responsible for development of content and stories to reinforce Oracle Financing value proposition for variety of segments.

The GCM will work closely with Global Director of Marketing on creation of content and messaging aligned to several segments/target audiences Oracle Financing employees, Oracle Sales (KAD, OD, etc.), Partners, Line of Business (Cloud, IT Infrastructure, Applications, Database & Technologies), and Industry (Financial Services, Communications, Retail).

The GCM will identify, develop and manage a variety of global communications activities/channels to generate overall awareness of Oracle Financing capabilities Oracle intranet pages, Oracle internal newsletters, webcast sessions, events, forums, etc. Initially, the primary focus will be robust and comprehensive internal communications, but ultimately the GCM will also develop content and manage communications for external customer audiences.

Key Responsibilities:**

The duties of the Global Communications Manager include:

Build constructive relationships with global Oracle Marketing and Communications managers critical to the business LOB (Cloud, IT Infrastructure, Applications, Database & Technologies); Industry (Financial Services, Communications, Retail), KAD, etc.

o Develop opportunities to integrate Oracle Financing messaging in Oracle s internal

channels

o Develop feature stories showcasing Oracle Financing value on deals that can be

showcased through newsletters, intranet, events, etc. large, transformation and/or

complex deals

o Establish web presence for Oracle Financing by integrating content on Oracle s

LOB and Industry websites and creating linkages to our own content on Oracle

Financing pages

Internal communications initiatives aimed at engaging Oracle Financing employees

o Coffee Talk and All Hands sessions

o Develop, manage and execute new communications approaches to engage and inform Oracle Financing employees

o Work closely with Global Marketing Manager to develop and manage content and news for myO-internal website

Support Oracle Financing Programs (Solution Development):

o Work with Global Marketing Director to develop messaging and marketing/communications plans to support launch of Oracle Financing Global Programs

o Develop content to support awareness for Oracle Financing Programs

o Global content will be leveraged by Regions to launch Programs

Global Communications for Oracle Financing

o Develop and manage execution of Global communications plan to support awareness, demand generation and overall Oracle Financing sales enablement

o Critical to role is development of content and stories

o Optimize mix of communications activities events, digital/web, collateral/sales tools, stories, etc.

o Collaborate with Global Marketing Director on overall development and management of content for all web properties MyO(public and internal); OPN, oracle.com

o Emphasis on steady stream of Oracle Financing messaging and content to generate awareness across variety of segments ultimately goal is to increase penetration rate of Oracle Financing on Oracle deals

o Collaborate with Oracle Financing Global and Regional Marketing teams

o Support and maintain Oracle Financing global brand, messaging and positioning

Qualifications:**

Global Communications Manager will be based in the US prefer Bay Area, Broomfield or

Phoenix

Bachelor s Degree in Business, Marketing or other relevant area of study MBA preferred

Minimum 10 years of experience in progressively responsible communications or sales

enablement roles in the high tech industry

Confident team player who can serve as the communications partner to the Oracle Financing

leadership team, providing recommendations and proactively supporting the business

Must have very strong understanding of high tech industry and solutions sold by Oracle

(Cloud solutions, IT Infrastructure, Applications, Database/Technologies).

o High tech industry trends, buying behaviors, etc.

o Oracle s positioning and competitive landscape

o Financing, leasing and financial services industries

Proven results developing and managing marketing & communications programs that target

internal and external audiences

o External C-level customers (CFO, COO, CIO, etc.); decision-marker

o Internal account executives, product management, leadership; deal-makers

Strong written and oral communications skills is critical ability to assimilate content from variety of sources to create messaging and stories to support Oracle Financing business

Must be highly organized with strong project management skills

Experience managing a team (directly and/or indirectly) and experience

managing marketing/PR agencies is desired

Strong business acumen

Experience working with high performance sales teams in the high tech industry

Proven success working within and across teams in highly matrix and complex organizations

Self-starter with ability to work with minimal direction

Ability and willingness to travel globally as needed

Ability to accommodate variety of time zones to ensure alignment with Regional teams
