Job Description

The Quality Engineer is responsible for developing gage designs and inspection plan for new or existing products. This person evaluate products and manufacturing processes and supports quality control activities through training inspection procedure preparation and technical support.


Coordinates design review assessments to review quality aspects of new products. Interfaces with Product Development Engineers to ensure quality considerations during the print development stage.

Develops various inspection techniques and procedures to ensure product integrity to design specifications. Responsible for the writing approval and implementation of Receiving Floor and final Inspection procedures and operator self-inspection procedures.

Works with other Quality Engineers and the Metrology Lab personnel on the development and procurement of product gauging optical comparator overlays and templates.

Participates as a trainer in Quality Control and Manufacturing employee training programs.

Works with suppliers quality control supervisors engineers and manufacturing personnel in the resolution of quality problems. Also assists each of these groups with capability studies and the application of statistical quality control.


  • This is a Co-op position, Looking for a candidate perusing an engineering degree

  • This will be similar to an intern. Ideal candidate would be a current engineering student - Mechanical or Plastic engineer would be preferred
