Job Description:

The candidate will apply their knowledge of security and related technologies, including access control, closed circuit video, intrusion detection, intercom, media display, radio communication systems, and LAN/WAN networks, to the application, design and implementation of security systems.

The candidate will provide support and execute assigned tasks related to the field assessment, design, and engineering of security systems. The candidate will need to attend and support meetings with clients, contractors, interdisciplinary consultants, and other project team members as part of the security team; conduct security equipment surveys, research and define appropriate equipment and technologies, analyze and assess constructability, support development of security specifications and design drawings for bid, review contractor submittals; and verify implementation in the field. Additional tasks include task management in support of local project managers, preparation of construction cost estimates, field auditing of installing contractors, and CADD design work.

  • Bachelor's Degree (Electrical, Telecommunications, Cyber Security, Civil, or related).
  • Approximately 5 or more years' experience in a consulting environment preferred.
  • Strong consideration will also be given to candidates with greater or less industry experience.
  • Desired Skills: Proficiency with MicroStation, AutoCAD, BIM, and/or related tools is required.
