Description

Kronos Incorporated is looking for a motivated and organized student to join its global corporate communications team! In this role you will work with various members of the team at Kronos, a $1B enterprise software company, learning about all aspects of corporate communications, including public relations, analyst relations, social media, and employee communications. If typos drive you crazy, a news app is one of the most frequented on your phone, and you have an interest in discovering how public relations, social media, and industry trend research come together to tell an organization’s story, then this is the internship for you! A passion for learning and interest in a fast-paced, never-the-same-day-twice career will serve you well. Candidates with a light spring class schedule in pursuit of a communications/PR degree with prior internship experience desired.

Qualifications

*This is a 25-30 hour per week internship starting as early as November, lasting up to 7-months.Students applying for this internship must be in pursuit of a Bachelors degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, English, or equivalent degree. A Communications/PR major with prior internship experience is desired, especially if the internship was held at a PR agency. Applicants should have strong writing and communication skills with the ability to multitask multiple projects, solve problems, and have an interest in keeping up with the news of the day to help our team identify key industry trends. Only interns who are proficient with Microsoft Office programs - specifically Excel, Word, and PowerPoint - have a solid understanding of how social media can be used for business purposes, and possess savvy Internet research skills should apply. Since the internship extends through the second semester, students applying should have a flexible class schedule with the ability to commute to Lowell, Mass. at least a few times a week.
