New England Apple Products Hard Cider Production Manager in Leominster, Massachusetts

Your Mission: ? Manage and perform all Fermenting and Production operations in order to create the highest quality and most enjoyable cider on the market. ? Bring a level of autonomy and pride while working with management to plan production needs to meet sales demand and growth. ? Work creatively with management on flavor and product development. ? Perform and upgrade existing production procedures in order to maximize efficiency and quality. Outcomes: ? Perform all production and operations procedures in accordance with standard operating procedures, while seeking out areas of improvement to implement with management through SOP updates ? Maintain proper testing and record keeping, ensuring quality assurance and regulatory compliance. ? Understand all facility and cidery equipment functionality and performance in order to maintain and operate it effectively. ? Plan production schedule that meets existing supply and demand across all sales channels of roughly 300 barrels monthly with the ability to expand on that plan for increasing growth up to 600 barrels monthly. ? Understand and work closely with management on formulation and recipe development with the ability and drive to do so independently. Core Competencies: ? Focused Problem Solver: Autonomously maintain a level of focus and patience when faced with unforeseen challenges or disruptions with the ability to address problems effectively and work with other team members and management to come up with solutions. ? Collaborative Worker: Bring a team player mentality to support and communicate with all teams and management to meet company standards and growth Qualifications: ? 5 years minimum experience in a brewing/fermenting production environment. ? Production management experience preferred. ? BA/BS degree preferred ? Flexibility and Availability for overtime ? Ability to bend, squat, kneel, walk on uneven surfaces and lift up to 50 lbs
