Disston Company Weld Center Operator in Chicopee, Massachusetts
WELD CENTER OPERATOR Disston Company, Chicopee, MA is looking for a Weld Center Operator to support the supervisor in daily activities in a small manufacturing company by maintaining and supporting the company goals thru operating equipment and assisting and overseeing operators with work load and quality on welders, presses, boxing and general machine operation. Responsible for keeping track of and ordering of machine consumables. Working directly with vendors on machine repairs and maintenance. Prior experience with presses, welding and general metal part manufacturing is required. Must have basic computer skills and, comfortable working with integrated ERP system with a high level of attention to detail to spot product defects, flaws and remedy issues.
