Job description

The Sr. Product Manager, Cerdelga® will lead the global planning and execution around Cerdelga®, the SRT Gaucher Brand within Rare Diseases in Sanofi Genzyme. This position will drive the implementation of strategy and execution of core global programs for Cerdelga®.

This position reports to the Global Leader for the Gaucher Portfolio (Sr. Director). This position must collaborate thoroughly and strongly with the Sr. Product Manager, Cerezyme®.

The role will be highly cross-functional, will require close interaction with regions and key countries, and involve leveraging synergies through a strong collaboration with all Rare Diseases teams.

Main Responsibilities:

 Global Cerdelga® strategy and programs:

o Contributor to the Gaucher Portfolio Brand planning, specifically on Cerdelga® analyses and programs

o Responsible for coordinating cross-functional teams (including but not limited to Medical Affairs, Regulatory, Legal, Competitive and Business intelligence, Value and Market Access, LCM, Regions representatives) to execute Cerdelga® programs and support the markets

o Support the Global Gaucher Leader in guiding market research planning and execution, and competitive response planning. Provide guidance to Competitive and Business Intelligence Heads, providing guidance on key intelligence questions and topics

o Lead Global Taskforces for global Cerdelga® Core Projects

o Represent Cerdelga® interests and provide global commercial input in the Global Gaucher Brand team

o Manage Cerdelga® promotional budget, vendors, timelines, deliverables

o Manage content updates for global Cerdelga® training platform. Assure deployment of training for new hires / new team members

 Promotional platform:

o Contribute to the development and future evolution of Global Cerdelga® Brand Book (Cerdelga® core messaging, branding and creative campaign)

o Design and execute select Cerdelga® promotional tactics, as defined in the Global Gaucher Brand Plan

o Manage the Cerdelga®-related content in the Gaucher intranet hub

o Overseeing Cerdelga® Brand presence at global congresses

 Commercial strategy execution:

o Responsible for Cerdelga®-specific leadership in competitive response taskforce

o Responsible for coordinating internal communication to and fro countries in competitive trends and other Cerdelga®-related topics

o Support the global Gaucher initiatives to accelerate patient diagnosis in Gaucher Disease

o Ensure regional and local pull-through of Cerdelga® Brand strategy and promotional platform

o Identify and communicate market drivers & barriers, and best practices

o Assist regions and countries in problem-solving and addressing local challenges to Cerdelga®

o Assist regions and countries in responding to Cerdelga® competitor dynamics

o Responsible for developing and coordinating internal communications and activities

 Travel up to approximately 20%, typically international.

Basic Qualifications:

Excellent interpersonal skills, communication skills and listening skills, ability to develop important relationships with multinational stakeholders, good conflict management and negotiation skills, ability to analyze complex issues to develop relevant and realistic plans, programs and recommendations.

Demonstrated ability to translate strategy into action; excellent analytical skills and an ability to communicate complex issues in a simple way and to orchestrate plans to resolve issues and mitigate risks.

 BA/BS degree, scientific background preferred

 Excellent PowerPoint and Excel skills

 5+ years marketing experience in the biotech, pharmaceutical and /or medical device industries

 Ability to travel up to 20% of the time, including some weekends; and hold valid international passport

 Global commercial experience and Rare Diseases experience preferred
