Regulatory Compliance Administrator in Cambridge, MA

(12 month W2 contract)

Kelly Services is currently seeking a Regulatory Compliance Administrator for one of our top clients in Cambridge, MA.

As a Regulatory Administrator placed with Kelly Services, you will support activities of the local Institutional Animal Care and Use Committee and Animal Welfare Compliance department. We are seeking a self-starter with ability to complete assigned tasks independently, as well as contribute to dynamic, team-based approach to ensuring the humane use of animals. Essential skills include critical analysis, attention to detail, good organization and great communication. An interest in science is key, and knowledge about pre-clinical research is a valuable asset for this position.

Additional Job Responsibilities:

Process protocol modifications and annual renewals per internal and external regulatory requirements, including review and processing from database, administration of review process and progress tracking. Initial processing of de novo protocol submissions per internal and external regulatory requirements, including review for complete submission, exporting from database and progress tracking Process protocol transfers including review of submissions for completeness and communication with requestor, judgment for approval and/or escalation of review, database processing of approved transfers. Process entries in various databases Maintain IACUC files and documentation, ensuring complete tracking of IACUC actions and availability of all applicable documents for regulatory inspections Support IACUC meetings, including distribution of meeting materials, act as back-up minutes recorder. Assist with SOP and policy editing and dissemination in conjunction with local and global AWC colleagues Assist AWC training unit in validating and maintaining records, documentation, databases and scheduling Support communication between the IACUC and research community

Job Requirements:

BS in animal science or biology, or related scientific discipline 1+ year experience in a preclinical research setting (technical or IACUC administration), preferably at an AAALAC accredited institution IACUC-related regulatory knowledge AALAS certification
