Job Description

ASSOCIATE DIRECTOR MARKETING, MIT SLOAN FELLOWS PROGRAM, Sloan School of Management, to lead the strategy, execution, and implementation of integrated marketing activities that increase user engagement, grow lead generation, and strengthen acquisition channels. Will manage digital marketing vendor relationships to maximize effectiveness, create clear performance metrics, and hold vendors accountable for performance; lead integrated marketing activities via organic and paid digital, social and traditional media (e.g., web, email, video, social media, mobile, SEO, paid search, print); manage social media campaign strategies and program website; analyze and synthesize all data to make strategic recommendations from marketing activities to better profile and target quality prospects and optimize digital campaigns; collaborate with other Sloan programs’ marketing teams, identify main drivers and best practices, and consider alternative ideas to achieve shared goals; partner with admissions team on annual goals and communication plan; oversee marketing program coordinator who manages social media and student blog; and manage marketing budget.

Job Requirements

REQUIRED: bachelor’s degree (advanced degree preferred;) minimum of five years’ related work experience in marketing and digital strategy, preferably in a university environment serving mid-career international students; ability to work collaboratively and effectively with staff and faculty and contribute ideas in a team setting; strong vendor relation skills; ability to perform and supervise multiple tasks simultaneously and reprioritize accordingly; excellent written and oral communication skills; experience establishing metrics to collect data and measure effectiveness; ability to organize and synthesize information and provide accurate analysis; thorough command of social media and digital marketing; keen eye for detail; customer-oriented perspective; and proficiency with Microsoft Office. Experience with CRMs, content management systems, and email management systems desirable. Supervisory experience preferred. Job #14980-P
