In this role you will work closely with our most enterprise and strategic accounts ensuring the highest possible customer satisfaction, retention and growth. You are expected to grow into a trusted advisor into these account(s) partnering in owning the relationship with a sales team member. You will focus your time around answering any technical questions around our services and how they solve the clients big data problems. In addition you will also be involved defining success criteria of existing use cases, be a direct contact for support escalations and funnel for product enhancement requests.
What You Will Be Doing
Customer account management and relationships
Understanding customer use cases and defining plans to achieve/overachieve defined success criteria.
Helping clients in post-sales implementations and supporting them through their use of the service
Sharing the learnings from the field with the rest of the team for improvement of messaging, processes and product features
What You Need for this Position
Excellent communication, presentation and demonstration skills and a good understanding of the account management and customer success processes
Experience in defining and executing on single and multi-threaded customer-based project plans.
5+ years in customer facing technical roles
Strong grasp on JVM concepts and Java applications
Knowledge of SQL, data warehousing, ETL concepts
Knowledge of full stack applications from the web tier, application tier and the database tier
Understanding of cloud infrastructure such as amazon web services (EC2 and S3), google compute etc.
Knowledge of Hadoop, Hive, Spark, Pig and related big data technologies
Ability to write scripts and small program utilities to assist with customer adoption.

What's In It for You
Base salary in the $130K - $160K range with variable pay (15%) and Stock Options.
