This is a hands on engineering position where you will be directly responsible for writing front end automation from simple shell scripts to advanced integration with additional cloud services from Oracle to achieve our platform coverage goals. Building on top of world class research enables you to present your findings and draw your conclusions for social media, customer presentations, and speaking sessions at conferences and industry events.

This team has the following responsibilities:

  • Broad cloud infrastructure experience. Familiar with IaaS, PaaS, SaaS, when, why, where, what, and who should use which.

  • Enterprise Architecture experience. Design, architecture, lifecycle, and risk mitigation for enterprise workloads should be part of your DNA.

  • Naturally curious, driven to investigate until closure. You have enough full stack experience to know how to automate your environment, produce conclusive evidence.

  • Parallel project orientation with accretive overlap. You have the ability to drive multiple projects concurrently and identify when to cross leverage results.

  • Excellent communication skills. Social media, blogging, speaking, and content creation to support.

Candidate Description

  • MS or BS in Engineering or Computer Science

  • 10 Years of software engineering or related experience

  • Strong linux and Windows automation experience

  • Strong database and data analysis experience

  • Excellent technical problem solving skills

  • Excellent verbal and written English skills

Desirable Experience:

  • Root Cause Analysis for performance optimization and architecture

  • Cloud SDK and scripting experience, python, php, perl, go, cli, shell

  • Hardware performance

  • Benchmark and test automation

  • Experience supporting buyer or vendor for Enterprise IT infrastructure

Detailed Description and Job Requirements

Design, develop, troubleshoot and debug software programs for databases, applications, tools, networks etc.

As a member of the software engineering division, you will take an active role in the definition and evolution of standard practices and procedures. You will be responsible for defining and developing software for tasks associated with the developing, designing and debugging of software applications or operating systems.

Work is non-routine and very complex, involving the application of advanced technical/business skills in area of specialization. Leading contributor individually and as a team member, providing direction and mentoring to others. BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. 7 years of software engineering or related experience.
