The Research Study Assistant will be responsible for supporting a research study evaluating the effect of yoga or walking on major depression. The Research Assistant will assist the Project Manager and the Clinical Staff. They will assist in subject recruitment, telephone screening, screening interviews, data collection, data entry, data monitoring, completing IRB and monitoring forms. This position requires a flexible schedule to accommodate monitoring of the intervention and assessments before and after the interventions. Data collection will include electrocardiogram recordings with a hand held instrument and transfer to a computer. The ability to participate in monitoring the intervention is required.
0-2 years of experience and Bachelor's degree required. Master's degree preferred. Must be able to work with people and have strong computer skills.
