The person in this position will:
1) function as a project manager,
2) contribute substantively to the intellectual activities of the investigative team and
3) assume primary responsibility for preparing materials to disseminate key findings to senior policymakers in the Department of Veterans Affairs.
The project planner will work on multiple projects supporting the investigative team ranging from topics such as mental health and health information technology policy.
This person will manage the study budgets under supervision, manage the day to day process of organizing team meetings and communicate among study partners between meetings, record decisions and findings, draft reports and presentations including charts and graphs to the funders and participate actively in manuscript generation.
Research on the historical context of policies being researched as well as informational interviews with appropriate contacts in the field about policy implementation is also required.
Finally, ability to conduct statistical analyses in STATA, R or SAS is desired.
Master's Degree and 3-5 years experience required.
