Citizens Bank Product Manager - Payables in Boston, Massachusetts
•Leverage market analysis, competitive knowledge, and customer research to help define product roadmap.
•Create detailed business requirements and use cases. Lead a team of developers, vendors, and others to deliver best-in-class products
•Perform the role of champion to promote and evangelize the product and new features with marketing, sales, support, professional services, partners and customers.
•Create compelling demos for internal and external use.
•Create a roadmap that drives growth and profitability based on client needs.
•Focus on existing product /enhancements. Build critical partnerships with key business lines (Sales, Client Services, IT, Risk, RMs).
•Subject matter expert in terms of industry focus/market competition
•Strong understanding of payments industry including check, wire transfer, ACH, and recent real time payments initiatives
•Support Sales on key relationships as well as new opportunities
•Responsible for understanding the impact of regulatory changes to the product set and driving the necessary modifications to ensure compliance.
•Also responsible for all components of client readiness, and colleague readiness (pre-launch activities which require participation from multiple stakeholders – Sales, Implementation, Client Services, Business Services, Marketing, etc.)
•BA/BS required, MA or MBA preferred
•At least 3 years experience in Product Management
•Broad and deep experience with treasury and online cash management products and services
•Understanding of the operational and service sides of the business, as well as markets and financials
•Ability to communicate at all levels within a large organization
•Demonstrated understanding of product development life cycle
•Proven ability to translate business needs for the benefit of Sales and our clients
•Strong analytical skills/financial acumen
•Demonstrates the ability to create strategic plans and lay out a strategic course of action to drive future business growth for a specific product

•Has a detailed understanding of the client needs that drive product usage and utilizes that information to differentiate Citizens Bank
•Demonstrates the ability to translate client needs into marketable product features
•Builds strong and effective relationships within Citizens.
•Develops, implements and communicates measures of product quality and performance with buy-in from partners
•Possesses in depth understanding of the commercial space within the Financial Industry and uses that information to identify competitive advantages
•Possesses in depth understanding of revenue drivers and effectively utilizes revenue drivers to drive higher levels of growth
•Displays positive, can-do attitude
