About the role:

Supporting a CBRE Technology Client on their Contract Manufacturing Management Team. Our client's contract manufacturers build and assemble electrical & mechanical infrastructure equipment associated with the power and cooling of our client's hyperscale data centers. The ideal candidate has excellent organizational and communication skills, as they will need to manage the progress of multiple suppliers and vendors. Familiarity with manufacturing contracts is essential with this position, as the ideal candidate will ensure supplier compliance to delivery deadlines and performance expectations of these contracts.

This role will require up to 20% travel and is remote to the East Coast time zone

What you will do:

  • Support DCE PgM Services with day-to-day factory operations, accountable to support leaders of large, complex projects and programs while working across multiple customer organizations.

  • Support projects/programs throughout the end to end lifecycle from NPI Concept, Planning, Development, Pilot, GA, Full Production, and EOL, ensuring completion of required deliverables prior to each phase gate review.

  • Support multi-source supplier qualification and manufacturing ramp-up as program/projects transition into the Sustaining phase of the lifecycle.

  • Provide clients with support of the program/project, manage factory readiness with external partners and accountable for providing clear and concise communication updates to customer cross-functional leadership.

  • Map out the end-to-end product supply chain and understand factory flow and bottlenecks.

  • Support manufacturing assessment and qualification of new suppliers.

  • Serve as point of contact for escalation and resolution of operations issues between supplier and project team.

  • Periodically travel to suppliers to develop relationships and drive operations execution with established suppliers and to support onboarding of new suppliers.

  • Coordinate with manufacturing engineering teams to drive continuous improvements for factory operations performance.

  • Coordinate with manufacturing engineering teams to evaluate supplier production maturity.

  • Engage with PLM to validate BOMs and ensure data accuracy and revision control.

  • Leverage technical acumen to collaborate with Engineering TPMs/TLs, Quality, and Manufacturing Engineers to optimize design for manufacturing and resolveissues (RFI, CCB, Bulletin)

  • Ensure continuity of supply through material tracking/readiness reports (CTB, BOM risk analysis, multisourcing qualifications)

  • Other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE

Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) from a four-year college or university with an emphasis in either Math, Accounting, Finance, Engineering, Business or related field. Master's degree in a related field preferred. Minimum eight years of related experience and/or training.

Previous Project Management and Program Management work experience required.

Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship now or in the future.

CERTIFICATES and/or LICENSES

Certification(s) in PMP (Project Management Professional) and/or preferred.

CBRE Carefully considers multiple factors to determine compensation, including a candidate’s education, training, and experience. The minimum salary for this Manufacturing Program Manager position is $120,000.00 annually and the maximum salary for this position is $130,000.00 annually. The compensation that is offered to a successful candidate will depend on the candidate’s skills, qualifications, and experience. Successful candidates will also be eligible for a discretionary bonus based on CBRE’s applicable benefit program. This role will provide the following benefits: 401(K), Dental Insurance, Health Insurance, Life Insurance, and Vision Insurance.
