Siemens PLM US Talent Acquisition
A Learning Architect (instructor) is needed to teach classes on CAE, CAD, and other PLM software from Siemens PL, with a primary focus on the NX CAE application.
As an instructor, you must be able to work under minimal supervision and be able to manage a dynamic work schedule.You will interface with customers in our training centers and client-site events, and you must have an aptitude to embrace technology for delivering training via formats like distance learning over the internet and the use of cloud technology.
You will work for the Education Services business unit within the Siemens PLM Americas Sales, Marketing, and Services organization.You will report to one of the Resource Manager in the Training Delivery group along with a team of approximately 35 peers.
Instructor will teach classes at various Siemens training centers as well as customer facilities and via distance learning.
Products of teaching focus are in the Computer Aided Engineering (CAE) sector; NX Advanced Simulation and Motion Simulation, Simcenter Pre/Post and Motion Simulation, and FEMAP.
Teaching basic to advanced NX Computer Aided Design (CAD) is also required for end user training purposes.
Willingness to travel is a must. (around 50% or less) Must be comfortable making travel arrangements and managing expenses abiding by organization’s travel policy.
During non-teaching time, continually improving and developing new courseware to help increase the training organizations offerings and help drive revenue growth.
Required Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience
Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering/Aeronautical/Civil with a focus on structural analysis is required.
5 years of structural finite element analysis (CAE) on Siemens PLM NX or similar CAE software is required.
Prior teaching/mentoring experience strongly desired.
Successful candidate must be articulate and comfortable speaking in front of groups.

Preferred Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience
Experience with dynamic and/or thermal analysis is a plus.
Experience with Teamcenter and other Siemens PLM Software is a plus (e.g. LMS, CD-Adapco)
Design experience using NX CAD or similar CAx product is preferred.
