The purpose of this position is to provide analytical support through research, data collection and data management of information for the asset management organization. Work is completed with some supervision.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Monitors and analyses the performance by asset. Assists asset managers in determination and delivery of budgets and forecasts.
Responsible for data collection, data input and/or aggregation and data auditing to support accurate key metric reporting and analysis performed by the organization.
Reviews accuracy of information provided and responds to requests from management. Assists in identification of new reporting requirements, prepares and maintains them.
Obtains, processes and analyses input on property level from property managers. Maintains property database input for EPP, MRI and other relevant IT tools.
Assists in generating Business As Usual (BAU) reports. Supports ad-hoc presentation/analysis development and responds to information requests from management.
May provide input for property valuations process and carefully checks correctness of valuations.
Supports the Asset Manager with investment proposals and is part of the team during investment project execution.
Performs other duties as assigned.
No formal supervisory responsibilities in this position.

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE
Undergraduate degree from four-year college or university plus a minimum of two years previous related experience required; or other equivalent combination of education and experience. Post-graduate degree preferred.
CERTIFICATES and/or LICENSES
Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong organizational and analytical skills. Ability to provide efficient, timely, reliable and courteous service to customers. Ability to effectively present information.
Good communication skills in English both written and verbal.
Requires advanced knowledge of financial terms and principles. Conducts advanced financial analysis.
Ability to comprehend, analyze, and interpret complex documents. Ability to solve problems involving several options in situations. Requires advanced analytical and quantitative skills.
OTHER SKILLS and/or ABILITIES
Advanced computer software application (Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.) and Internet navigational skills.
SCOPE OF RESPONSIBILITY
Ability of understanding of procedures, company policies, and business practices to achieve general results and deadlines. Responsible for setting work unit and/or project deadlines.
